about us
Our Mission
The mission of People’s Health Solutions is building healthy communities together. Our name was born in 2004 from our belief that public health solutions are most effective when they integrate diverse overlapping perspectives and involve community members at all stages. It also reflects how people’s health is a product of multiple overlapping factors — from community safety to the quality of our health systems.
Our Values
Commitment to Excellence
We uphold high standards of excellence through our philosophy of doing “whatever it takes” to achieve ambitious goals. We deliver services of the highest quality and value through our commitment to continuous learning and professional integrity.
Mutual Support
We prioritize building meaningful relationships, sharing knowledge and resources to enhance our shared impact. In a world of rapid change and growing inequality, our collective action is essential to building healthy communities.
Health and Wellbeing
We commit to creating the balance that is needed to do our work with joy. The healthy bodies, minds, relationships, and spaces that we cultivate for ourselves are what enable us to co-create health and wellbeing in the communities we serve.
Health Equity
We practice equity through action, seeking to support social change through our commitment to participatory leadership and investing in public health education. We center lived experience and community voices in all of our work.
